Switching Tenants and Apps

In many cases, Fuuz customers will have multiple Tenants within their Enterprise. For example, every Fuuz Customer should have at a minimum, their “Admin” Tenant - which is where your Fuuz system administrator will do things like adding users, modify security, and monitor your system health. In addition to this Admin tenant, at least 1 additional tenant is necessary for any site specific applications that you’re running.

For example - you may have an “enterprise” application - that is used across multiple locations, business units, etc. but by a common or centralized group of users. Alternatively, you may have one or more ‘site specific’ applications, these would be things like MES, WMS, where the users and transactions that occur within those tenants are specific to 1 location, business unit, or business process.

The use cases for tenants, is really unique on a customer by customer basis and truly depends on how you’re company is leveraging the Fuuz platform. For best practices or guiding principles, please consult with your implementation partner about your specific needs.

Your system administrator must first, grant you access to multiple tenants, in order for ‘switching tenants’ to mean anything to you.

Home Tenant

After logging into Fuuz from the initial login screen as shown below, you will be immediately directed to your “Home Tenant” - this home tenant is part of your user record in Fuuz - only your system administrator can change this for you.

You can determine what your home tenant is, by viewing “My Profile” which is located within your avatar menu from the top right corner of your Fuuz screen after logging in.

Avatar Menu:

Located in the top right corner of your screen - provides a drop-down of options, based on your specific security/permissions in the system.

Multiple Tenant Access

Should you have access to more than 1 tenant, you’ll know this by exploring the ‘tenant menu’ feature in the lower / bottom right hand corner of the Fuuz application shown below. The Tenant menu uses the industry standard “location” icon, in addition you should notice the upward arrow, indicating other options are available to you for selection within the tenant menu. Click anywhere on the area, and then the tenant menu will appear above the lower bar as shown below.
